An active community servant, wife and mother, Rebecca is married to Rick Nesbitt and the couple has a daughter who attends Atlanta International School.

She is a graduate of Faulkner State Community College (now Coastal Alabama Community College) and the University of South Alabama and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.

Rebecca established and is president of Cover Your Assets, a personal property documentation service.   After teaching Special Education, she worked at Faulkner State Community College as  Director of Student Activities and as a recruiter.

Rebecca has also worked as a Catastrophe Insurance adjuster and customer service representative.

Currently, Rebecca is a resident of Paramount at  Buckhead Condominium where she has served two terms as president of the Board of Directors.  She is the Buckhead Condo Alliance designee to the Livable Buckhead, Inc. board. She serves on the board’s fundraising committee and is a liaison with the condominium residents in Buckhead.

In addition, Rebecca has served on the Old Ivy Park steering committee, a group convened by LBI to help define community goals for the park design and work with the City of Atlanta to develop a park design that meets those goals. Ms. King also serves on the boards of the Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia as Secretary and the Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic Association as President.
